Position Summary

We are seeking a qualified Design Advisor to join our Home Gallery team. Curated by Home Gallery at Richmond American is an industry-leading design center that provides design packages for our homebuyers.  

Responsibilities

• Advise clients through the RAH/Home Gallery design and colorization process.
• The advisor will be an effective listener and focus on delivering an exceptional customer experience utilizing our Company processes.
• Primary influencer in our homebuyer option selection decisions.
• Ensure timely scheduling and completion of personalization experience for clients utilizing our Company processes.
• Delivering revenue, margin, productivity and customer experience standards in line with Company objectives.
• Leads by example in a highly professional manner with strong customer-centric focus.
• Ensure all paperwork and diagrams are correct and appropriate for homebuyers, construction and trade partners.
• Effectively communicating with vendors and trade partners as the business circumstances dictate.
• Support department supervisor with sample needs (at RAH HG / sample landing space / sales offices) as needed. Setting up selection presentations for final appointments as needed.
• Ensure all meeting locations (RAH/off-site HG) locations are Standing Tall.
• Will handle own coordinator duties (scheduling / diagrams / loading to BuildPro, etc.) and managing backlog concerns/issues.
• Support Design Specialist with duties related to Curated by HG spec homes as appointment flow fluctuates.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor or Equivalent

Experience: Work in builder design center, retail design center or previous design experience with a strong focus on organization and accuracy. Candidate must have excellent organizational and communications skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills. Strong numeric orientation required. Computer skills and experience working in EnterpriseOne software requied.

Hourly position. No commission. M-F or Tu-Sat schedule as needed (based on appointments).
