Position Summary

The Business Solutions Analyst position will assist in the identification, implementation, development and support of the various applications used in the mortgage origination process including loan origination systems, point of sale systems, automation tools as well as other applicable technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Interview stakeholders and translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications. 
  • In conjunction with other departments, identify and document workflows.
  • Perform system research and debug production issues.
  • Coordinate, implement, and support third-party services utilized in the mortgage origination process.
  • Resolve support requests in a timely and professional manner. Escalate issues appropriately if the issue is having difficulties being resolved.
  • Ensure support requests and resolutions are properly documented.
  • Multi-task and prioritize problems based on business needs.
  • Participate in projects as a subject matter expert on business process and system configuration.
  • Assist business areas in developing, automating and scheduling reports. 
  • Build processes to automate data integration between systems. 
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, standards, and best practices. 
  • Manage projects in accordance with established change management processes. 
  • Design test scripts, execute and document test results as required.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of technology and product management roles and lifecycle.
  • Strong understanding of mortgage origination workflow, systems and terminology.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to effectively interview stakeholders and document workflows with a high attention to detail
  • Experience successfully working remotely and/or with geographically dispersed teams.

Additionally Desired Skillsets

  • 3-5 years administering the Encompass Banker’s Edition. Certification a plus.
  • Experience utilizing VB.net, C# and/or Java
  • Experience managing projects in an Agile environment. Certifications a plus.
  • Experience managing projects using Jira.

Compensation

  • Base Salary: $65,000- $75,000
  • FLSA Status: Exempt
  • Bonus Type: Year-end Discretionary
